Sweet pies were valued quite widely among the child population of many countries. Often pies with different fruit fillings replaced desserts. For a long time, desserts in the form of cakes and pastries were not perceived in the CIS countries. The fact is that people had a worthy analogue – pies.
Even after centuries, pies with different sweet fillings remain favorites of many people. Probably plays nostalgia for the past, for example, for grandmother’s country baking. Maybe real pies can be tastier than modern cakes.
Let’s prepare one of the sweet pies for a tea party.
Ingredients for pecan pie:
- Warm milk – 300 ml;
- Sugar – 100 g;
- Egg – pcs;
- Yeast – tsp;
- Butter – 150 g;
- Flour – 500 g;
- Walnuts – 300 g;
- Condensed milk – 150 g.
Preparation of walnut cake:
Pour granulated sugar into warm milk, break an egg and stir the components until the grains of sand dissolve. Pour yeast into the milk. Melt butter, add to the milk and stir.
Sift flour into the milk and knead a thick dough

Place the dough in a 22×22 cm baking dish and form an even layer. Cover the dough with food film, leave it warm for half an hour.
In the cellophane, chop the nuts into coarse crumbs with a rolling pin. Sprinkle the walnuts on top of the pie.
Bake the pie at 170 degrees for 35 minutes.
Then pour condensed milk over the top of the pie.
Poke the pie in different places with a skewer so that the condensed milk is absorbed inside.
You get a juicy and sweet walnut pie. In addition to walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds and peanuts are used for the pie.
