It is important for the dessert to choose the right cottage cheese. It should be used not too wet and not too dry cottage cheese. Its fat content should be between 5% and 9%.
Butter is an important component of the dough. Therefore, you should not replace it with margarine. Otherwise, the baked goods will not turn out melt in the mouth.
When kneading the dough, watch its consistency. For cottage cheese baking, you need an elastic and soft dough that does not stick to your hands.

Ingredients:
- Curd – 400 g;
- Butter – 160 g;
- Sugar – 100 g;
- Flour – 400 g;
- Vanilla sugar;
- Soda – 1 tsp;
- Salt – ½ tsp;
- Coconut shavings.
Preparation of curd tubes:
Pour salt, vanilla and classic sugar into the curd, mix. Add soft butter to the curd, press it with a mallet
and rub the butter and curd together until smooth. Pour ½ of the flour into the dough, add baking soda and knead an elastic dough.
Instead of baking soda you can use 10 grams of baking powder.
Pour the rest of the flour into the cottage cheese and knead a homogeneous and not sticky dough.

Divide the dough into 30-gram balls, roll each one with your hands into a rectangular layer.
Sprinkle the dough layers with coconut shavings and
roll them
into tubes.

Place the tubes on a baking tray, seam side down, and sprinkle with sugar. Bake the tubes at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

You get flavorful tender cottage cheese tubes with coconut filling.

You can make fewer tubes, then divide the grams of ingredients in half.
