A new apple pie recipe that will make you forget about expensive desserts from the restaurant. It’s easier to make than it looks!

Apple pies are a favorite of many people all over the world. The fact is that apples are considered the most accessible fruit in most countries of Europe and America. Therefore, in every country cooks try to prepare interesting and unusual baked goods from apples, which could impress everyone.

For example, in France, apples are used to make Tarte Taten. This is an inverted pie with caramel. For the recipe, the apples are caramelized, after which they are laid out in a mold. The pastry is placed on top of the apple filling and baked. Only after baking the pie is turned upside down

Let’s tell you how to prepare an unusual apple pie with cinnamon and nuts

Ingredients:

  • eggs – 5 pcs;
  • sugar – 250 g;
  • vanillin – a pinch;
  • milk – 150 ml;
  • vegetable oil – 80 g;
  • flour – 350 g;
  • leavening agent – 2 tsp;
  • apples – 1 kg;
  • cinnamon – 1 tsp;
  • nuts – 100 g.

Preparation of apple pie:

Peel apples from the peel and seed pods. Chop apples with a blender or a fine grater. If the apples are unsweetened, add up to 100 grams of sugar to the puree

. Break the eggs one by one into a separate container. Pour sugar to the eggs and beat to a fluffy white mass.

Pour vanillin to the egg mixture, pour milk and vegetable oil into the mixture. Sift flour and baking powder into the mixture and beat the dough briefly with a mixer until homogeneous.

Place a part of the dough on a parchment-lined baking tray (25×35 cm). Put the applesauce on the dough layer and sprinkle it with cinnamon.

Cover the apple layer with the rest of the pastry. Chop the nuts and put them on top of the pie.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees for about 20 minutes. Bake the pie at 180 degrees for 1 hour.
