Brownies are one of the best selling types of desserts on the planet. There is a huge number of different cakes. And in addition to the usual classic desserts there are also author’s desserts.
Cakes are usually consumed during a tea party. Dessert is necessary to get rid of the taste of the main dishes after dinner.
In ancient times, cakes were so expensive that only noble people could afford them. The poorer strata of the population, cakes were inaccessible for a long time. The reason for the high price was sugar – an expensive product until the XX century.
Now there are many different homemade recipes for cakes. For example, fluff cakes.
Ingredients for fluff cakes:
- Eggs – 3 pcs;
- Sugar – 120 g;
- Vanilla sugar – 10 g;
- Salt – a pinch;
- Warm milk – 120 g;
- Vegetable oil – 120 ml;
- Flour – 200 g;
- Baking powder – 12 g;
- Zest of ½ lemon;
- Lemon juice – tbsp;
- Cream 33% – 200 ml.
Preparation of down cakes:
In a bowl break the eggs, pour granulated sugar, salt, vanilla sugar and beat with a mixer until white foam. Pour the warm milk into the mixture and continue to beat.
Pour the vegetable oil into the mixture, pour in the flour and baking powder and knead the dough
. Add the lemon zest to the dough and continue to mix with a whisk.
Cover a 42×32 cm baking tray with parchment, pour in the dough and spread an even layer over the surface.
Bake the cake at 180 degrees for 25 minutes.
Cool the cake and cut out circles with a glass with a diameter of about 5 cm.
Make crumbs out of the leftovers.
You can soak the cakes with orange juice.
In a bowl, whip the cream to stiff peaks, you can add powdered sugar to it.
Put the cream in a pastry bag and pipe the cream onto the crusts. Sprinkle the cream filling with crumbs.
The cakes can be left in the refrigerator for a couple of hours. They make excellent tea cakes.
