A raw beet salad that I can eat every day. It’s simple and delicious

Beets are a useful source of vitamins and minerals for the human body. Beets were used in ancient times to treat various diseases. In the Middle Ages beets were already used as a cosmetic agent. Later beet again became a medicinal remedy. Only now beets were combined with other drugs.

In the history of cooking beets have a huge weight because of the iconic recipes for borscht, vinaigrette and Herring under Shuba. Let’s prepare another beet salad.

Ingredients for beet salad:

  • Beets – 1 pc;
  • Carrots – 1 pc;
  • Peking cabbage – 200 g;
  • Onion – 2 pcs;
  • Vegetable oil – 50 ml;
  • Garlic – 3 cloves;
  • Salt – ½ tsp;
  • Coriander – a pinch;
  • Black pepper – a pinch;
  • Dried basil – ½ tsp;
  • Lemon juice – 2 tsp.

Preparation of beet salad:

Peel and grate beets and carrots on a Korean-style grater.

Chop coarsely Peking cabbage, add to beets and carrots.
