Fruit pies have always been a certain kind of dessert. And not only for the poor, but also for the rich. Of course, the elite of society could provide themselves with pies with exotic fruits. For example, pies with bananas or peaches were popular. The

second kind of pie – peach pie, came most likely from the East. It is in the territories of eastern countries that peaches are grown. So, a lot of interesting dishes with this fruit were created there.

Now peach filling is not so popular. It has been supplanted by mango and passion fruit. However, it is still worth preparing a delicious peach pie.

Ingredients of the dough for peach pie:

  • butter – 100 g;
  • sugar – 130 g;
  • eggs – 2 pcs;
  • sour cream – 220 g;
  • flour – 220 g;
  • leavening agent – 10 g;
  • salt – ⅓ tsp;
  • canned peaches;

Ingredients for the cream:

  • cottage cheese – 350 g;
  • egg – pcs;
  • vanilla – ½ tsp;
  • sugar – 2 tbsp;
  • sour cream – 2 tbsp.

Ingredients for the crumble:

  • flour – 120 g;
  • sugar – 60 g;
  • butter – 60 g.

Preparation of peach pie:

In a bowl with soft butter pour granulated sugar and stir until the grains of sand dissolve. Break the eggs into the mixture,

add

the sour cream and mix the ingredients until homogeneous with a whisk.

Pour the flour and baking powder into the mixture, add the baking soda and knead the dough

Cover the mold with parchment, grease with butter and put the dough on the bottom, spread it in an even layer.

Cut the peaches in two and place them on the surface of the dough

To prepare the cream, combine cottage cheese with egg, vanilla, sugar and sour cream. Beat the cottage cheese mixture with a mixer until lush and homogeneous. Cover the peach layer with the cream, distributing it evenly.

In a crumb bowl, combine the flour, sugar and butter and rub together. Tamp the crumble lightly and bake the cake at 170 degrees – 1 hour.
