Stuffed eggs are a classic appetizer that is popular at various celebrations and family gatherings. It is a simple, but at the same time elegant dish that can be quickly prepared and served on the table, delighting guests with its taste and original decoration. One of the most popular variants of stuffed eggs is stuffing with fish or sprats, which gives them an original taste and flavor.
Stuffing eggs with fish or sprats not only enriches the appetizer with sea notes, but also allows you to diversify your table: the stuffing can vary depending on the season and the preferences of your loved ones.
In addition, stuffed eggs look great on the festive table, they can be decorated with herbs, olives or lemon wedges, which adds not only flavor, but also a decorative component.
Ingredients for stuffing from sprats:
- Eggs – 5 pcs;
- Sprats – 80 g;
- Mayonnaise – 2 tbsp;
- Spicy mustard – 1 tsp;
- Green onion – 15 g;
- Dill – 10 g;
- Black pepper – ½ tsp;
- Salt – a pinch.
Ingredients for stuffing with red fish:
- Eggs – 5 pcs;
- Red fish – 100 g;
- Dill – 10 g;
- Green onion – 15 g;
- Black pepper – ½ tsp;
- Melted cheese – 100 g.
Preparation of stuffed eggs:
Divide each egg into two parts, trying to avoid the thin part, where the layer of protein is small.
Remove the yolks from the eggs, lay
them
out in a bowl.
Chop the yolks with a fork, put to them sprats, previously rid of oil. Also in the stuffing add mayonnaise, mustard, chop green onions and dill
. Do not forget to salt and pepper the stuffing and mix everything thoroughly

Put the stuffing into the whites, in the place where the yolk was. Then put the rest of the stuffing on the whole cut of the egg half.
