Suluguni is a Georgian cheese, it has a rather dense texture and a brackish flavor. However, if you know how to use it in the right recipes, you can truly be surprised.
If you can see layers in the cut of the cheese, it is real. It is better to buy suluguni at the market, you should not take vacuum packed products. It is quite expensive to bring cheese from Georgia, so you can buy cheese made in our country. It is desirable that the masters were Georgians. Let’s try to cook with this ingredient a delicious meatloaf.
Ingredients:
- 4 potatoes;
- 300 gr suluguni cheese;
- 400 gr of ground beef;
- 1 onion;
- 1 red pepper;
- 2 garlic cloves;
- 1 tablespoon of tomato paste;
- Vegetable oil;
- Salt;
- Pepper, paprika;
- Green onions.
Preparation:
300 gr. of suluguni cheese rub on a coarse grater. We send half of it to a baking tray covered with parchment. Cut the peeled potatoes into circles and place them on top in a single layer.
Sprinkle with salt and grease with vegetable oil. Send to the oven heated to 200 degrees for 30 minutes.
In a frying pan with vegetable oil send 400 grams of minced meat. Fry and sprinkle with finely chopped onion. We also add crushed red pepper and two cloves of garlic, pressed through the press.
Send to the ingredients one tablespoon of tomato paste

For flavor – salt, pepper and paprika in the required amount.
Return to the tray with potatoes

Sprinkle the rest of the cheese on top and lay out the prepared minced meat.
Evenly distribute with a spatula. Then again sprinkle with cheese.
Roll up into a roll, sprinkle with cheese and send to the oven to finish cooking. 10 minutes is enough.
