Belarusian Potato” cookies are a unique and original dessert, which got its name because of its characteristic shape resembling a real potato. This sweet treat has become a favorite among many connoisseurs of confectionery due to its delicate taste, amazing texture and easy cooking process.

Ingredients:
- sour cream – 100 g;
- butter – 80 g;
- sugar – 70 g;
- boiled yolks – 3 pcs;
- leavening agent – 1 tsp;
- flour – 220 g;
- salt – a pinch;
- vanillin – a pinch.
Ingredients for sprinkles :
- powdered sugar – 2 tbsp;
- cocoa – 2 tbsp.
Preparation of dessert “potatoes”:
Mix the cooked yolks with sugar, salt and vanilla, stir and grind with a fork. Pour melted butter into the mixture and continue to stir.
Also add sour
cream to
the mixture and mix with the rest of the ingredients. Pour the flour and baking powder into the mixture and knead a soft and elastic dough.
Pinch off small pieces of dough and form small truffle-like balls. Place the balls on a baking tray lined with parchment
and leave the cookies in the fridge for 20 minutes.
Then bake at 180 degrees for 20 minutes. For sprinkles, mix cocoa with powdered sugar, roll the warm cookies in this mixture.
