Many people associate sweet rolls with completely different types of desserts. The fact is that each country has its own sweet rolls.

For example, in Germany and Austria it is Strudel. A roll made of thin dough filled with apples, raisins, nuts and cinnamon. In India, it is Parian, a sweet roll filled with nuts, dried fruits and spices

Let’s tell you how to make a simple sweet roll in 5 minutes.

Ingredients for the cream:

  • egg – pcs;
  • sugar – 110 g;
  • vanilla sugar – 10 g;
  • cornstarch – 1.5 tbsp;
  • sour cream – 350 g;
  • butter – 40 g.

Ingredients for the dough:

  • eggs – 4 pcs;
  • salt – a pinch;
  • sugar – 1 tbsp;
  • flour – 180 g;
  • milk – 400 ml;
  • butter – 30 g.

Preparation of sweet roll:

For the filling, break an egg in a saucepan, pour classic and vanilla sugar, add cornstarch and mix. Add sour cream to the mixture and continue mixing the ingredients.

Cook the mixture until thickened, stirring constantly. In the hot custard base add butter, mix and transfer to a separate container.

Cover the cream with cling film and leave to cool.

For the dough, pour salt and sugar into a bowl with eggs, beat until the grains of sand dissolve.

Sift flour into the egg mixture, knead the dough
