One of the most desirable pies in the expanses of our country is belyash. This is a tasty pastry with a juicy filling in the form of meat.
However, it turns out that these pies have not since ancient times existed on our tables. Belyashi was originally cooked by the Tatars. The people had their own recipe, which allowed to make soft dough and juicy stuffing. Contemporaries of Ivan the Terrible wrote about belyashi with admiration. It was under this tsar that this miracle of Tatar cuisine began to spread.
Now it will be impossible to find an authentic recipe for belyash

With great probability, the cooking algorithm and the exact list of products were lost in the library of the Terrible and other, similar recipes.
We will cook belyashi simply, without frills make delicious pies with meat.
Ingredients for lazy belyashi:
- puff pastry – 500 g;
- salt – a pinch;
- minced meat – 400 g;
- garlic – 3 cloves;
- potatoes – 3 pcs;
- green onions – a bunch.
Preparation of lazy belyashi:
Potatoes need to be peeled from the top layer of peel, chopped on a coarse grater. To the potatoes, integrate the garlic cloves grated on a small grater. Add minced meat to the mixture, mix the ingredients.
Finely chop green onions, pour them into the stuffing of minced meat and potatoes, mix. Do not forget to salt the minced meat, add ground black pepper to taste.
We combine the layers of puff pastry into one large one. We put the stuffing on the rectangular flatbread, roll it into a long roll.
The resulting sausage should be cut across into small portions.
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, press the portions of rolls with hands. Flattened patties are sent into the hot oil to fry until browned on both sides.
Of course, this way of cooking belyashi is very different from the classic one.
