Any cook should be able to prepare both simple and complex salads. But, which recipes exactly should be emphasized? In fact, there is no definite list. If you want to get a delicious salad for the holiday, it is necessary to adhere to some rules.
One of the rules is the law on the temperature of products. All components of the salad should be at room temperature. Otherwise, hot and cold ingredients in the salad will mix with each other. Cheese will melt, potatoes will turn into mashed potatoes. It
is also worth watching the size of the cut components. There should not be different sizes of products in the salad. Otherwise, the flavors will not be properly distributed in the dish.
Let’s prepare a simple salad from basic budget products.
Ingredients for the salad:
- chicken fillet – 3 pcs;
- eggs – 3 pcs;
- cucumber – 2 pcs;
- canned corn – 340 g;
- green onion – 4 feathers;
- mayonnaise – 4 tbsp;
- salt – ½ tsp.
Preparation of the salad:
Boil in salted water chicken fillet, boil hard-boiled eggs. Pour out the water from under the canned corn. Peel cucumbers, cut into small straws.

Slightly cool the fillet and eggs, cut into small cubes.
In a salad bowl put cucumbers, meat, eggs, green onions and corn, dress with mayonnaise and mix thoroughly.
