Rosochki cookies are one of the most delicate and charming desserts, which attracts attention not only by their exquisite appearance, but also by their surprisingly pleasant taste. This cookie finds its place both on holiday tables and in everyday life, pleasing with its flavor and crispy texture. The
origin of “Rozochki” goes back to the traditions of European cooking, where baked goods were often decorated in the form of flowers and other natural shapes. Rosochki cookies are a perfect example of this approach, as their shape really resembles a blossoming flower.
The dough used to make them can vary, but most often it is light and crumbly, allowing you to create thin layers that form this amazing dessert.
Ingredients:
- Flour – 250 g;
- Sour cream – 100 g;
- Butter – 80 g;
- Yolks – 3 pcs;
- Salt – a pinch;
- Vanilla sugar – 1 tsp;
- Baking powder – 1 tsp.
Ingredients for the filling:
- Proteins – 3 pcs;
- Sugar – 120 g;
- Vanilla sugar – 1 tsp.
Preparation of cookies “Rosochki”:
Mix cold butter with flour, try to grind into crumbs. Pour vanilla sugar and leavening agent with salt into the creamy crumb, stir.
In a hollow in the dough put the yolks, add sour cream and gather everything into a block. Roll out the kolobok into a thick roll, which we divide in two lengthwise.
We divide the two sausages into small balls, put them in the refrigerator in cellophane.
For the cream, beat the whites with vanilla and classic sugar with a mixer for 7-8 minutes.
Roll out the cold dough into thin circles, divide the circles into 5 petals

Place a couple of spoonfuls of filling in the center of each circle and cover with petals.
It is important to wrap the petals a little to create the image of a Rose.
Place the cookies on the baking tray spacing them apart from each other.
Bake the cookies at 160 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
After baking the hot cookies should be decorated with powdered sugar. It turns out to be a very beautiful homemade dessert.
