Apple pie is a wonderful dessert that has long held a place of honor in the culinary traditions of many countries, especially in Western Europe and the United States. The first mentions of apple-filled pies are found in the culinary records of medieval England. Since then, this dessert has undergone many changes and adaptations, and each country has its own unique recipes.
Let’s tell you how to prepare a quick apple pie in a frying pan, without resorting to the oven.
Ingredients for the dough:
- Eggs – 2 pcs;
- Sugar – 3 tbsp;
- Salt – a pinch;
- Vanilla sugar – 2 tsp;
- Milk – 100 ml;
- Butter – 40 g;
- Flour – 160 g;
- Baking powder – 10 g.
Ingredients for the cream:
- Apples – 400 g;
- Butter – 30 g;
- Sugar – 2 tbsp.
Preparation of apple pie:
Peel apples from the peel and core, cut into small slices. In a frying pan melt butter and sugar.
For the filling, put the apples in the pan and stew for 10 minutes. In the meantime prepare the dough: mix eggs with sugar, vanilla sugar and salt.
Pour warm milk and soft butter into the eggs and stir. Sift flour and baking powder into the mixture in batches, knead a thick dough without lumps.
Grease a clean pan with butter or vegetable oil, lay a circle of parchment on the bottom. Next, lay the apples on the bottom, seal and put on medium heat.
Pour all the dough on the apple layer, level and bake under a lid on minimum heat for 20-25 minutes.
Next, place parchment on top of the pie and cover with a plate, turning the pie upside
down. Continue baking the pie for about 5 minutes without the lid

The result is a soft sweet apple pie without the oven.
