Cooking apple pies:
In the sour cream add egg yolks, pour sugar and thoroughly mix the components. Sift flour and baking powder into a separate container, add butter. Use
your hands to turn the flour and butter mixture into a lumpy dough
.
Pour the mixture of sour cream and yolks into the dough, knead a soft and elastic dough.
Gather the dough into a lump and leave it in the refrigerator for 10 minutes. At this time, peel the apples, remove the core and cut them in two.
Divide the dough into two equal parts. Sprinkle the table with flour and roll out one part of the dough into a rectangular layer, transfer the
layer to
the parchment.
Place the apple slices on the layer with the convex side up. Place the apples slightly apart from each other.
Brush the spaces between the apples with water. Similarly roll out the second lump of dough and cover the apples with it. Neatly fasten the intervals of the dough, tuck the edges of the dough with a plait.
Bake the pies at 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
After baking you can sprinkle the pies with powdered sugar and divide into portions.
Also before baking, we recommend sprinkling the apples with cinnamon and then cover with a second layer.
