There are different kinds of pies – big, small, with different kinds of fillings. All this variety began with a simple loaf of bread. Gradually, different fillings began to be added to the dough. However, at that time it was still impossible to call it a pie
. The point is that the filling in the dough was used separately. In this case, the dough was thrown away, because it was inedible. Later people began to bake the dough with the filling in the oven, which made the modern pie.
Now pies are part of most cultures of the world. Let’s make a pie with peaches together.
Ingredients for peach pie dough:
- Butter – 100 g;
- Sugar – 130 g;
- Eggs – 2 pcs;
- Sour cream – 220 g;
- Salt – 1/3 tsp;
- Flour – 220 g;
- Leavening agent – 10 g.
Ingredients for the cream:
- Curd – 350 g;
- Sugar – 2 tbsp;
- Sour cream – 2 tbsp;
- Vanilla – ½ tsp;
- Canned peaches or apricots.
Ingredients for crumble topping:
- Flour – 120 g;
- Sugar – 60 g;
- Butter – 60 g.

Preparation of the pie with peaches:
In a bowl with soft butter, mix the sugar until the grains of sand dissolve. Beat the eggs into the butter, add the sour cream and mix with a whisk.
Pour the flour, baking powder and salt into the mixture and knead the dough. Place the dough in a baking dish lined with parchment.
Divide the apricots in two and place the convex side into the dough.
For the cream, mix the sugar, sour cream and vanilla in the cottage cheese and beat until creamy. Spread
the cream over the canned peaches. Thoroughly spread the cream over the surface.
For the crumble, mix flour and sugar in soft butter, quickly grind with your hands until crumbly.
Sprinkle the crumble over the cream layer, distribute evenly.
Bake the cake at 170 degrees for an hour
