Ingredients:
- Sweet peppers – 1.5 kg;
- Celery – a bundle;
- Water – 500 ml;
- Vegetable oil – 100 ml;
- Vinegar 9% – 50 ml;
- Sugar – 2.5 tbsp;
- Salt – 1 tbsp;
- Laurel leaves – 2 pcs;
- Black pepper – 20 pcs;
- Garlic – 8 cloves.
Preparation of sweet pepper appetizer:
Clean the peppers from the insides, cut into small slices. In the cleaned form should get 1.5 kg of vegetables.
In a saucepan pour water, vinegar and vegetable oil, pour salt and sugar, add bay leaf, black pepper and cook until boiling. Next, put a few garlic cloves and a bunch of celery in the marinade, mix.
Put a small amount of peppers in the marinade, cook them under a lid for 2-3 minutes, stir. Put the peppers and celery in a separate pot, sprinkle with garlic cloves and cover with a lid.
Similarly, put celery and a little garlic in the marinade, and then the peppers, cook for a couple minutes. Then put
them
in another pot, without marinade.
When all the peppers have passed the cooking process, pour the marinade into the pot, cover with a lid and put them in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
It is possible for this recipe to use neither a storage pot, but another container. You get delicious pickled peppers, which are especially good to eat with pita bread.
