Salads are present on almost any holiday table. Most people prepare those recipes that have passed the test of time. But sometimes, for a change, you can prepare a salad that is not typical for the holiday table.
An example of such a dish can be a salad “Minute”. It is not as common as Olivier or Caesar, but still good enough to be on the holiday table.
Ingredients for the salad:
- Tomatoes – 3 pieces;
- Processed cheese – 1 piece;
- Garlic – 1 clove;
- Croutons – 50 g;
- Mayonnaise – 1.5 tbsp;
- Salt, ground black pepper – to taste.
Preparation of the salad:
Melted cheese is sent to the freezer to harden. Cut tomatoes
into
small slices
. To the tomatoes in a bowl rub the hardened cheese through a fine grater. To the mixture of cheese and tomatoes add garlic, pressed through the press. Add
mayonnaise, salt and black pepper to the main mass. Mix the salad gently so that the ingredients unite with each other.
The breadcrumbs should be put on top and only just before serving so that they do not soak
.
If desired, the salad is additionally decorated with greens – cilantro and dill. Salad leaves will also look great in the dish. It
turns out a tasty quick salad from simple components. It is a good aperitif to the main course or an appetizer for lunch.
