Beet has always been an important vegetable for mankind. It could treat a wide range of diseases. For this reason, beets could not be eaten by the poor in ancient times. It was believed that beets – a divine vegetable, which should be brought as a gift to the gods for the further favorable development of the state.

But, the use of beets in medicine did not stop. Now beets are more used in cooking. Of course, the vegetable is still advised by medics in treatment, but as a preventive remedy.

Beetroot has many vitamins and minerals, which contributes to its healing properties. Let’s prepare a simple beet salad for every day.

Ingredients for beet salad:

  • Boiled beets – 1 pc;
  • Raisins – 80 g;
  • Walnuts – 80 g;
  • Mayonnaise.

Preparation of beet salad:

We peel boiled beets and grate them on large sharps of a grater.

Cut dried walnuts with a knife into small pieces.
