Let’s tell you how you can replace harmful snacks with a useful beet snack.

Ingredients for beet snack:

  • Raw beets – 500 g;
  • Onions – 120 g;
  • Sweet pepper – 150 g;
  • Tomatoes – 350 g;
  • Garlic – 3 cloves;
  • Salt – 1.5 tsp;
  • Sugar – tsp;
  • Apple cider vinegar – 2 tbsp;
  • Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp.

Preparation of beet appetizer:

Peel beets and grate them on large sharps of a grater. Dice onions and peeled sweet pepper, grate

tomatoes on a coarse grater as well. In a frying pan heat vegetable oil, fry onions until golden color.

To the onions put sweet peppers, stir and leave to cook for 2 minutes. To the vegetables put beet pulp, stew on medium heat under a lid for 5 minutes.

Add tomatoes to the beet pulp, similarly stew for 5-7 minutes. Pour salt and granulated sugar into the mixture, stir.

If desired, add ground black pepper. Pour

apple cider vinegar into the mixture, press garlic cloves into the pan, stir. Turn off the fire, let the beet

mixture

simmer for a couple of minutes under a lid

. Put the beet mixture in a plate and chop it with an immersion blender to a puree.
