Brought this recipe back from Italy. My everyday “go-to” pie: simple and delicious

Many people have quite a few fond memories of baking. These include pies at grandma’s in the village, sweet desserts, and soft fresh bread. The smell of baked goods soothes and leads to a state of harmony.

Mostly, the favorite baked goods are some particular pie. As a rule, people love charlotte. It is the most recognizable type of baked goods in many countries.

But, besides charlotte there are other interesting pies. It is worth paying attention to Italian pastries. Pies from this country are original and delicious. Let’s create a typical Italian pastry at home.

Ingredients of the dough for Italian pie:

  • butter – 200 g;
  • flour – 300 g;
  • salt – a pinch;
  • leavening agent – tsp;
  • vanillin – tsp;
  • sugar – 100 g;
  • egg yolk – 2 pcs;
  • sour cream – 4 tbsp.

Ingredients for the filling:

  • cottage cheese – 400 g;
  • sugar – 100 g;
  • egg – pcs;
  • egg white – 3 pcs;
  • salt – a pinch;
  • condensed milk – 100 g.

Preparation of Italian pie:

To the soft butter pour flour, baking powder, vanilla and salt. Mix the components to a homogeneous mass similar to dough

. Add sour cream, yolks and granulated sugar to the primary dough, continue kneading.

We divide the dough into two parts – one bigger and one smaller. Put the bigger one in the refrigerator for 20 minutes. Put the smaller one in the freezer for half an hour.

Do not forget to wrap the dough in cellophane.

To prepare the filling, mix cottage cheese, sugar and egg, beat with an immersion blender until homogeneous. In a separate bowl, whip the whites with salt with a mixer until white, fluffy foam.

Pour sugar to the whites, continue to whip until the formation of stable peaks. Next, place most of the dough in a baking mold with parchment on the bottom, level the surface and form sides. Place the curd
