Cabbage patties are a tasty and hearty dish that can be prepared both for lunch and for a snack. Such baked goods will be a great addition to national soups, such as eel, soup or borscht.
Our recipe is characterized by a juicy stuffing of cabbage, carrots and parsley, as well as a flavorful sauce based on Greek yogurt and dill. It is interesting that we will not mold the patties, we will use the principle of fritters.
Cooking cabbage patties:
- Cabbage – 500 g;
- Carrots – 1 piece;
- Parsley – 2 sprigs;
- Garlic – 3 cloves;
- Eggs – 3 pieces;
- Flour – 4 tbsp (60 g);
- Salt – 1 tsp;
- Paprika – 1 tsp;
- Black pepper – 1 tsp.
Sauce preparation:
- Greek yogurt – 3 tbsp;
- Dill – 2 sprigs;
- Pickled cucumber – 1 piece;
- Garlic – 1 clove;
- Paprika – 1/3 tsp.
Preparation of cabbage patties:
Cabbage is finely chopped. Pour boiling water and cook for 5 minutes. Drain the water using a colander. Leave the cabbage to cool down.
Cut the onion first into half rings and then into small cubes. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Send the ingredients to the frying pan.
Press two cloves of garlic through the press, combine with onions and carrots.
Transfer the cabbage into a deep container and break three chicken eggs into it

Pour salt, paprika and black pepper. Add fried onions and carrots, as well as four tablespoons of flour.
Mix all the ingredients.
Fill the frying pan with oil and use a tablespoon to spread a small amount of dough. Fry on both sides for 2 minutes.
The cutlets are sent to a beautiful saucer.
To prepare the sauce, finely chop dill and grate salted cucumber. Mix with Greek yogurt. Help yourself! Everything is easy and simple.
