There is an association of pie lovers in the world. This is an international forum where cooks from different corners of the planet share their recipes for delicious pies. It is noteworthy that baked goods from our country are especially popular.
For foreigners it can be difficult to understand some fillings that we use in the preparation of flour products. For example, a similar dissonance happens in Europeans when they find recipes for cabbage pies. For us, this is one of the most common types of baked goods.
Moreover, in our state, pumpkin pies are not particularly honored, which, on the contrary, in Europe are a great success.

It is better just to prepare excellent soft pies with cabbage.
Ingredients for cabbage pies:
- vegetable oil – 90 g;
- flour – 650 g;
- onion – pcs;
- yeast – 10 g;
- carrots – pcs;
- sugar – tbsp;
- cabbage – 450 g;
- salt – tsp;
- water – 300 ml;
- boiling water – 250 ml.
Preparation of pies with cabbage:
We cut into a small cube onion, pass through small grater teeth carrots. On 50 ml of vegetable oil fry carrots and onions until slightly soft.
Shinkuem not very small cabbage, put to the onions and carrots, salt and mix the ingredients. Pour 50 ml of water to the softened cabbage, stew the vegetables under a lid until ready on low heat.
Pour 5 tablespoons of flour into the boiling water, mix the ingredients. Pour cold water into the flour mixture, pour sugar, a spoonful of salt and yeast, mix. Pour
vegetable oil into the mixture, sift flour, knead a soft and elastic dough

Leave the dough under cellophane for half an hour, during this time the vegetable filling should cool down.
Knead the dough, divide it into two equal parts, form each of them into 6 rolls

While one roll out into a flatbread, cover the rest with foil.
Make the flatbreads rectangular, put a part of the filling on one of the narrow edges, roll it into a roll of dough

Vegetable oil should be preheated in a frying pan, lay the dough rolls on the surface.
Fry the patties on medium heat until browned on all sides.
These patties turn out to be an unusual shape, but very convenient for a meal.
To the filling you can add your favorite spices, turmeric, paprika and others.
