Chicken breast kebab: crispy, with creamy sauce. A tasty dinner for a large group

The history of kebab dates back more than one millennium. This dish has ancient roots and is connected with the culture of many peoples.

Shashlyk is meat cooked on fire. It began to be cooked by nomadic peoples who used a spit for meat. Later, shashlyk became a popular dish in different countries and cultures.

It was relevant among the Cossacks, who cooked meat during campaigns. Today, shashlik is cooked literally everywhere. It can be prepared from different types of meat, as well as with the use of various marinades and spices.

Let’s tell you how to prepare chicken shashlik on your own.

Ingredients:

  • chicken breasts – 2 pcs;
  • salt – tbsp;
  • black pepper – tbsp;
  • paprika – tsp;
  • dried parsley – tsp;
  • garlic powder – tsp;
  • olive oil – 100 ml;
  • clarified butter – 2 tbsp;

Ingredients for garlic sauce:

  • parsley – 1 tbsp.
  • garlic – 2 cloves;
  • melted butter – 2 tbsp.

Preparation of chicken kebab:

Fill wooden skewers with water for half an hour. Cut chicken fillet into small pieces, mix with salt, black pepper, paprika, dried parsley and garlic powder.

Pour olive oil to the spices and chicken, mix and leave to marinate for half an hour. In the meantime, chop parsley as finely as possible for the sauce.

Grate garlic on a fine grater to the parsley, pour in oil and lemon juice. Put each piece of chicken on a skewer.

Put the kebab on a baking tray covered with parchment. Bake at 200 degrees for 20 minutes, then turn to the other side and bake at the same temperature for 5 minutes.

After cooking, smear the sauce on the kebab. It turns out to be an excellent chicken dish.
