Kefir cookies are a simple and at the same time very tasty treat that can be easily prepared even by those who do not have culinary skills. This is a dessert that has gained popularity due to its ease, quickness of preparation and extraordinary softness. The cookies turn out airy, fragrant and with a slight sourness, which gives them a special charm and makes them ideal for tea, coffee or as an independent snack. The
main ingredient of the cookies is kefir, which not only gives the dough incredible softness, but also enriches it with useful properties. Kefir, as a source of probiotics, helps improve digestion and also makes the cookies more nutritious.
Thanks to kefir, the dough does not require long kneading and is suitable for quick preparation – in just half an hour you can enjoy fresh, hot cookies.
Ingredients for the dough:
- Flour – 320 g;
- Kefir – 150 g;
- Butter – 150 g;
- Salt – a pinch;
- leavening agent – 1 tsp.
Ingredients for the filling:
- Flour – 130 g;
- Butter – 80 g;
- Sugar – 120 g;
- Vanilla – a pinch;
- Salt – a pinch.
Cookie preparation:
Mix flour with baking powder and salt, put butter in it and grind it into crumbs. Pour kefir into the creamy crumb and knead the dough, leave it in cellophane in the refrigerator for half an hour.

Pour salt, sugar and vanilla into the crumbs and mix.
Divide the dough into 5 parts, roll each part into a thin layer. Place the first layer on a parchment-lined baking tray and sprinkle with the filling.
Put the second layer on top of the filling and sprinkle with crumbs. Do the same with the rest of the layers and the filling.
Divide the puff pastry into small cubes, separate from each other.
Bake the cookies for 20-25 minutes at 180 degrees.
After cooking, you can sprinkle the cookies with powdered sugar. It turns out simple sweet cookies for every day.
