Our ancient ancestors knew about salads, who prepared various dishes from roots and herbs. Of course, it is difficult to call their dishes full-fledged salads. However, these are some rudiments of the development of cooking as an activity.

Salads have evolved for quite a long time. In ancient Rome, the ingredients for preparing salads remained at the level of spines, green onions and herbs.

Only in the XVIII century this dish became popular. Various products of non-plant origin began to be added to salads.

We want to tell about one of the modern salads, which can be prepared constantly.

Ingredients for cabbage salad:

  • white/pekin cabbage – 350 g;
  • sour cream/Greek yogurt – 4 tbsp;
  • cucumbers – pcs;
  • salt – a pinch;
  • sausage – 100 g;
  • green onion – 2 feathers.

Preparation of cabbage salad:

Cabbage should be finely shredded, if it is not young, then it is also worth squeezing it. Cucumber should be cut

Cut the sausage into small strips, send it to the salad bowl to the cucumber and cabbage. Finely chop green onions, optionally add parsley

. Put onions and greens in the salad, salt and dress with Greek yogurt or sour cream.
