Royal cake has such a name for a reason, because the dessert looks presentable and unique. It consists of several layers and allows you to enjoy several exquisite cakes at once. As a filling you can choose absolutely any ingredients, so we decided to use raisins, poppy seeds and cocoa powder. The
history of the appearance of such a cake is connected with 1950
.
Then the cooks of the Swedish queen decided to prepare a unique dish for the banquet. They got a light and airy cake, rich in cream, strawberries and mangoes. All countries began to prepare this dessert, adding to it what they are rich in.
Now cooks come up with their own recipes, supplementing them with secret ingredients. We will tell you about the classic version of the preparation of the cake, probably it will inspire you to create your own culinary miracle.
Ingredients for the cake:
- flour – 160 g;
- leavening agent – 10 g;
- eggs – 3 pcs;
- sugar – 180 g;
- sour cream – 200 g;
- salt – a pinch;
- poppy seeds – tbsp;
- raisins – 2 tbsp;
- cocoa powder – st. l.;
- vanillin.
Ingredients for the cream:
- boiled condensed milk – 200-250 g;
- sour cream 20-25% – 450 g.
Cake preparation:
In a deep container break three chicken eggs, pour sugar, as well as a bag of vanilla
. Beat with the help of a mixer. Add sour cream and resume the work of the mixer. Through a sieve pass the flour and baking powder, combine with the rest of the ingredients. Stir the billet with a whisk.
Pour the billet into 3 different containers. Each of them dilute with an interesting filling: raisins, poppy seeds, cocoa powder. Stir.
The baking tray is covered with parchment. Pour out the blanks at a distance from each other. We should get 3 separate crusts.
Send to the oven. After cooking, cool down. Separate from the parchment and trim the edges with a knife.
To prepare the cream, mix 150 grams of sour cream and boiled condensed milk. Then add the remaining 300 grams of sour cream
. Assemble the cake. Lay out the bottom layer of the cake with raisins, then smear with cream and use the cake with cocoa.
Again make a layer of cream and cover the cake with poppy seeds. Smear the cream on all sides, sprinkle the top with shredded leftover cake.
Put in the refrigerator for a few hours.
