Cakes have become a trademark of European countries. For example, many people know the Prague cake or Napoleon cake. Also one of the popular cakes is considered to be Medovik.
All these confectionery masterpieces have a certain history, which is an integral part of culinary culture. But, in addition to famous cakes, there are less popular samples. These are some analogues of expensive recognizable desserts.
It is worth telling about such a cake as “Spartacus”. This is a great combination of chocolate and condensed milk.
Ingredients of the cakes for the cake “Spartacus”:
- flour – 130 g;
- eggs – 3 pcs;
- cocoa – 20 g;
- sugar – 100 g;
- leavening agent – 2 tsp;
- honey – 2 tbsp.
Ingredients for the cream:
- boiled condensed milk – 350 g;
- butter – 150 g;
- chocolate – 50 g.
Preparation of the cake “Spartacus”:
In a bowl break the eggs, pour granulated sugar and beat with a mixer to a white mass for 5-10 minutes. Gradually pour melted honey into the egg
mixture
.
Combine baking powder and flour with cocoa, pour into the egg mixture. Knead the biscuit dough with a mixer without lumps. Spread
parchment on a baking tray and grease with vegetable oil. Pour the dough onto the tray in an even layer, bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
Remove the uneven edges from the biscuit and divide into 4 identical cakes.
To prepare the cream, combine soft butter with condensed milk and beat until homogeneous.
Smear each cake with cream and form the cake. Smear the sides and top of the cake with cream and sprinkle with chopped chocolate.
Let the cake soak in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
