Many myths have been known about crab sticks since their appearance. Often we can hear that crab sticks contain fish waste in their composition. For example, crab sticks contain fins and heads of fish.
However, this myth has no real ground. Crab sticks are created from surimi. The fish is cleaned and washed before creating a product from it.
Quality crab sticks can be used to create delicious dishes such as crab salad.
Ingredients for crab salad:
- crab sticks – 200 g;
- boiled eggs – 6 pcs;
- corn – 300 g;
- mayonnaise;
- onions – pcs;
- chips.
Preparation of crab sticks:
Cut small cubes of crab sticks. Similarly cut peeled hard-boiled eggs, mix with sticks in a salad bowl.
Put corn in the salad, dress with mayonnaise and mix thoroughly. Peel and dice onions, put them in the salad.
Together with onions add crab chips to the salad.
It is recommended to use soft air chips. This way the salad will be richer in flavor.
It is important to put the chips in the salad before serving, so that they do not soak. Salt the salad to taste, add black pepper if desired.
