Ingredients for zucchini sticks:
- Zucchini – 500 g;
- Egg – pcs;
- Water – 200 ml;
- Flour – 200 g;
- Leavening agent – 6 g;
- Hard cheese – 50 g;
- Brisket – 50 g;
- Salt and pepper – ½ tsp;
- Green onions – 25 g.
Preparation of zucchini sticks:
Remove the stalk from the zucchini, grate on a coarse grater. Transfer the zucchini mass in a sieve, salt and leave until the vegetable empties its juice.
Cut small cubes of brisket and cheese, finely chop green onions.
In a bowl break an egg, add a pinch of salt and 100 ml of water. Beat the eggs, pour the flour combined with baking powder and
gradually pour the water into the dough
.
Do not pour all the water into the flour at once, otherwise the dough may become watery. After kneading there may be 20-30 ml of water left in the glass.
Squeeze the zucchini mass from the juice and put it into the dough together with cheese, brisket and onion.
Mix the components and put them into a pastry bag. You can also make fritters from this dough.
Heat vegetable oil in a
frying
pan, using a pastry bag to create sticks on the surface.
Fry the sticks with zucchini on a heat above medium until golden on both sides.
Do not forget to prepare a container for the pastry bag with dough, so it will be easier to cook.
You get excellent crispy sticks with zucchini. If desired, you can replace the brisket, for example, with cooked sausage, add parsley and dill to the dough.
