Ingredients:
- cabbage – 2 kg;
- carrots – 1 pc;
- water – 1 liter;
- salt – 2 tbsp;
- sugar – 2 tbsp;
- black pepper peas – 1/4 tsp;
- bay leaf – 2 pcs.;
- apple cider vinegar – 100 ml;
- vegetable oil – 100 ml.
Preparation of cabbage salad:
Shinkuem finely cabbage, grate carrots on a coarse grater, mix the vegetables in a saucepan. Do not crush the cabbage, it is necessary to preserve its juiciness
. In boiling water pour salt and sugar, add black pepper and bay leaf. Boil the marinade for 2-3 minutes.
Put the cabbage and carrots in a jar, pour in the same vegetable oil and apple cider vinegar. Fill the cabbage with slightly cooled marinade, put a pressure cooker on top of the cabbage mass.
Leave the cabbage in a closed form in the refrigerator for 8-12 hours. In the morning you get a delicious crispy cabbage.
