Cucumbers with tomatoes for winter. Recipe without sterilization: so tasty that not even brine will remain

Pickling cucumbers and tomatoes is an art that not every housewife possesses. Often there are complaints about the type of over-salted vegetables or not tasty marinade. How to combat these problems in salting?

There are several simple rules that need to be internalized when preparing products. It is worth detailing how to correctly pickle cucumbers and tomatoes.

Ingredients for pickled tomatoes:

  • Tomato – 2 kg;
  • Bulgarian pepper – 4 pcs;
  • Garlic – 2 heads;
  • Onion – 4 pieces;
  • Dill – bundle;
  • Parsley – a bundle;
  • Salt – tbsp;
  • Sugar – 3 tbsp;
  • Vinegar essence 70% – tsp.

Preparation of pickled tomatoes:

Remove stalks from tomatoes, cut tomatoes into slices. Clean bell peppers from the insides, cut into small pieces. Plates cut garlic cloves, onions cut into rings.

In a jar put 2-3 plates of garlic, a few sprigs of dill and parsley

If desired, you can add basil and 3-4 peas of black pepper.

At the bottom of the jar lay the onion rings and bell peppers, lay tomatoes up to ½ of the jar. Similarly lay out the onions, herbs and peppers, put to the top of the remaining tomatoes.

On top of the jar also lay out the greens, onion rings and peppers, pour boiling water over the contents. Cover the jars with lids and leave for 15 minutes.

Then pour the boiling water back into the pot, add 100 ml of water, vinegar, salt and sugar. Bring the marinade to a boil, pour into jars, tightly close the lids.

Turn the jars over and leave under a towel until completely cooled.

  • Tomatoes – 1500 g;
  • Onions – 3 pcs;
  • Bell pepper – 6 pcs.;
  • Garlic – 2 heads;
  • Cloves – 3 buds;
  • Horseradish leaves;
  • Dried dill;
  • Currant leaves;
  • Cherry leaves;
  • Laurel leaf;
  • Salt – 2 tbsp;
  • Sugar – 6 tbsp;
  • Vinegar 70% – 2 tsp.

Preparation of pickling cucumbers and tomatoes:

In the jars we put horseradish leaves, dry dill, currant and cherry leaves, bay leaf. Divide each garlic clove in half, add to the bottom of the jars along with cloves.

Remove the stalks from the cucumbers, fill ½ of the jars with them. In each jar also put a couple of slices of bell peppers. Cut onions in half rings, pierce tomatoes in several places with a toothpick.

Put on a layer of cucumbers and peppers tomatoes, on tomatoes – onion rings. Pour boiling water into the jars, cover with lids and leave for 20 minutes. Pour
