Curd buns are always considered a winning option for breakfast or a snack. Curd, thanks to its properties and consistency, is able to make almost any dough soft and slightly moist. The baked goods turn out hearty and flavorful.
However, it is almost impossible to find delicious buns in the store. Bakeries make baked goods using chemical additives. So the buns retain their properties for a long time. But, at the same time, baked goods lose certain flavor features.
Let’s prepare cottage cheese buns on our own using a simple recipe.
Ingredients for cottage cheese buns:
- cottage cheese – 250 g;
- sugar – 60 g;
- flour – 250 g;
- eggs – 2 pcs;
- vegetable oil – 2 tbsp;
- vanilla sugar – 10 g;
- leavening agent – 10 g;
- salt – a pinch.
Preparation of cottage cheese buns:
In a bowl you need to beat eggs with salt, classic and vanilla sugar until the grit dissolves.
Pour
cottage cheese into the egg mixture, mix the ingredients.
Pour vegetable oil into the cottage cheese mixture, mix again. Add flour and baking powder to the curd mixture in portions, knead a homogeneous dough. Knead
the dough by hand for a few minutes and then form a sausage
.
Divide the dough sausage into 12 equal parts and form balls.
Place the dough balls on a baking tray lined with parchment. Grease the future buns with beaten egg yolk, send them to bake at 180 degrees in the oven for 25 minutes.
Thus it turns out to prepare cottage cheese buns from a minimum of ingredients. This type of baking can be done every day, it does not take much time to knead the dough.
