The attitude towards salads is different in all countries. The love for chopped vegetables on the plate is probably a manifestation of a certain southern mentality.
In hot countries, food is usually more free and easy to eat. People can eat vegetables, fruits and berries. According to Spaniards and Greeks, they often forget the existence of meat food and bread. People prefer to replace heavy food with salads of fruits and vegetables, adding additionally cheese and fish.

Ingredients for cabbage salad:
- white cabbage – 300 g;
- salt – a pinch;
- carrots – pcs;
- parsley – bundle;
- canned peas – 300 g;
- onion – pcs.;
- vegetable oil – 2 tbsp.
Preparation of cabbage salad:
Finely chop cabbage, shred carrots on small grated teeth.
Put cabbage, carrots and onions in a salad bowl, mix with peas and chopped parsley. Do not forget to salt the salad and thoroughly mix all the vegetables with each other.
In this dish you can add cucumbers, tomato and bell pepper. Also to taste, we recommend to dress the salad with ground black pepper.
