Pancakes have always been considered an easy way to make a quick breakfast. Every country has its own pancakes. But, basically, all pancakes originated from Slavic pancakes. They, in turn, are the ancestors of pancakes
. Originally, pancakes were pancakes. These small dense and slightly puffy pancakes were made because of the lack of frying pans and other kitchen utensils
. Later, prototypes of frying pans began to appear in the household of every housewife and pancakes became thinner and larger. In some assumptions, it is believed that pancakes are a separate type of dish in Slavic cuisine and it is associated with the goddess Lada.
Let’s make our own pancakes with filling from available products.
Ingredients for fritters:
- Warm kefir – 400 ml;
- Egg – 1 pc;
- Salt – tsp;
- Sugar – 1 tsp;
- Olive oil – 3 tbsp;
- Flour – 360 g;
- Baking soda – ½ tsp;
- Sausage – 200 g;
- Green onions – 1 bundle;
- Vegetable oil – 150 ml.
Preparation of fritters:
In a bowl with kefir break an egg, pour salt and sugar, pour olive oil and mix thoroughly. Pour the flour into the mixture, knead
the
dough
. Pour the baking soda into the dough and mix thoroughly with your hands in the dough. Cut sausage into small cubes, chop green onions and put them into the dough, mix.
Heat 150 ml of vegetable oil in a frying pan. Put the dough into a pastry
bag and press the fritters from the bag into the hot oil.
Fry the fritters on medium heat for 20-30 seconds on each side.
You get puffy and soft fritters. In the recipe, you can add cheese and garlic to the filling.
