It is believed that they appeared in ancient Rome, where they were prepared from the meat of whales. In Russia, cutlets became popular in the XVIII century thanks to French cuisine. Since then, they have firmly entered our menu and have become one of the most common and favorite dishes.

Ingredients:

  • meat – 1 kg;
  • onion – 300 g;
  • garlic – 3 cloves;
  • white bread – 200 g
  • milk;
  • salt – tsp;
  • breadcrumbs – 100 g.

Preparation of cutlets:

Pass meat and onion through a meat grinder, soak bread in milk. Press the garlic and add to the meat. Grind

the bread squeezed from excess milk in a meat grinder, mix with minced meat and onion. Salt the mince, beat it on a work surface and then form cutlets.
