Pie has always been a symbol of warmth and comfort in the house. Cooking pies is an important process that takes a lot of time. At least that’s what quite a few housewives think. Let’s prepare a simple sponge cake at home for tea on our own.
Ingredients for sponge cake:
- Egg – 3 pcs;
- Sugar – 100 g;
- Vanilla sugar – 1 tsp;
- Sour cream – 100 g;
- Vegetable oil – 100 ml;
- Leavening agent – 1 tsp;
- Flour – 195 g.
Preparation of sponge cake:
Break one egg into a bowl. Separate the yolks from the whites in the two remaining eggs. Add the yolks to the whole egg and beat until frothy with a mixer.
Pour 50 grams of sugar, vanilla sugar, sour cream and vegetable oil into the egg mixture and stir. Pour the flour and baking powder into the egg mixture, knead a thick biscuit dough without lumps.
Cover the baking dish with parchment, place the dough there and distribute it evenly

Bake the cake at 180 degrees Celsius for 25 minutes.
10 minutes before the cake is ready, beat the proteins with a mixer, pour sugar to them. Spread the white stable mass on top of the pie
. Take the pie out of the oven 7 minutes before it is ready.
Take the pie with the protein layer back into the oven for 5-7 minutes to bake.
You get a beautiful sponge cake with a thick layer of protein cream on top.
