Each country has its own tricks and recommendations for preparing a delicious salad. For example, in France, Spain and Italy it is customary to prepare salads using natural homemade cheese. For this purpose, people specially come to buy products on molds. At the same time, Europeans boycott store vegetables and cheese.

In northern countries, the approach to preparing salads is simpler. Products are purchased in stores. Mostly hearty salads with plenty of meat and fish are prepared.

In our country, the salad season comes in the summer, when vegetables ripen on their own vegetable garden.

Ingredients for cabbage salad:

  • cabbage – 250 g;
  • ground black pepper – a pinch;
  • cheese – 100 g;
  • salt – ⅓ tsp;
  • eggs – 4 pcs;
  • dill – 15 g;
  • canned green peas – 150 g;
  • 15% sour cream – 100 g.

Preparation of cabbage salad:

Boil hard-boiled eggs, finely chop cabbage, shred cheese on small grating cutters. Boiled eggs should be peeled and also shredded on large grater teeth.

Dill should be shredded as finely as possible. Peas are separated from the liquid. In a salad bowl we combine cabbage with cheese, peas, eggs and dill. Sprinkle the ingredients with salt and ground black pepper.

Dress the salad with sour cream and mix thoroughly.
