Most people have tried patties at least once, but not once. Most likely, it was an ordinary oval-shaped patties, the type of pie familiar to most people.
But few people have tried patties in the shape of a tube. It is about such pies that we want to tell you. Such a variant of serving will interest many guests.
Ingredients for the dough:
- Flour – 300 g;
- Water – 250 ml;
- Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp;
- Salt – 1 tsp.
Ingredients for stuffing:
- Potatoes – 5-6 pieces;
- Salt – 1 tsp;
- Butter – 30 g;
- Milk – 30-50 ml;
- Onion – 3-4 pieces;
- Vegetable oil – 2-3 tbsp.
Preparation of tube pies:
Peel the potatoes from the peel, boil them. Cut onions into small cubes and put them on a frying pan greased with vegetable oil, fry until translucent.
After the potatoes are boiled, it is necessary to turn them into mashed potatoes

Add salt, milk and butter to the potatoes beforehand. Add the fried
onions to the mashed potatoes and mix everything thoroughly so that the stuffing turns out homogeneous.
Put the water to boil. Meanwhile, in a separate bowl sift flour, add vegetable oil and salt. As soon as the water boils, immediately pour boiling water into the dough.
Try to knead the dough as soon as possible, so that the flour has time to boil.
Put the dough on the table and knead it until homogeneous.
Once the dough
has cooled completely,
divide the dough into 15 pieces. From each part form a block, which then roll out into a rectangle. On the edge of the rectangle put the filling, wrap the edges on the sides, create a roll.
Put the rolls on a hot frying pan with vegetable oil and fry on both sides until golden.
As a result, you get tube pies, which will look great on the festive table.
At the same time, you can experiment with the filling an infinite number of times, adjusting it to your taste.
