Many children of the 1990s and 2000s now remember store-bought rolls with nostalgia. It was a cheap treat bought by parents for traditional school tea parties.
As a rule, in stores you could find rolls in different flavors – chocolate, fruit, with boiled condensed milk. There are still analogs of sweet rolls on store shelves today. But, according to people 20-30 years old, these are absolutely not those rolls from childhood.
It is worth trying to make a sweet roll yourself. Perhaps it will be possible to discover the formula for cooking the perfect dessert.
Ingredients for sweet rolls:
- eggs – 4 pcs;
- coconut flour –
- sugar – 100 g;
- strawberry jam – 5 tbsp;
- vegetable oil – tsp;
- flour – 120 g;
- lemon juice – tsp;
- leavening agent – 8 g.
Preparation of sweet roll:
Eggs need to be beaten with a mixer until the yolk and protein are completely combined.
Gradually
pour sugar into the egg mass, continuing to beat the mixture.
As soon as the egg mass becomes white and puffy, pour in vegetable oil and lemon juice, mix.
On parchment combine sifted flour and baking
powder.
Gradually stir the flour into the egg mass, creating a dough
.
Once all the flour has been added to the egg mixture, cover the baking tray with parchment and place the dough on it.
Distributed on the surface of the dough bake at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes. The prepared biscuit should be separated from the parchment, the surface is smeared with jam.
Roll the biscuit into a roll with the filling inside. Wrap the roll in parchment, fix it and send it to the refrigerator for half an hour.
You can also use nuts and chocolate as a filling for the roll. All that remains is to smear jam on top and sprinkle with coconut shavings.
