Rolls were invented 3000 years ago. People figured out how to wrap different foods in a dense roll of dough. Meat, sweets, vegetables, eggs and others were used. And as a wrapper alternated sweet and salty dough.
Now rolls are still relevant. By plugging in your imagination, you can come up with a filling with beef tongue, seafood and other interesting ingredients. We want to tell you about the recipe for a delicious and inexpensive roll.
Ingredients:
- 300 ml of warm milk;
- 500 grams of flour;
- one egg;
- one teaspoon of yeast;
- one tablespoon of sugar;
- half a teaspoon of salt;
- 200 gr cottage cheese;
- 200 gr cheese;
- 50 g of green onions;
- vegetable oil.
Preparation of the roll:
Pour 300 ml of warm milk into a container. Add one teaspoon of yeast and one tablespoon of sugar. Stir with a spatula until the sugar dissolves.
Break the chicken egg and separate the egg white from the yolk

Our mixture will need only the white, pour it into the rest of the ingredients in the bowl.
Add 80 ml of vegetable oil. Stir, pour in half a teaspoon of salt and proceed to add flour. We do it in two stages. We get a mass without lumps
. Knead the dough for 2-3 minutes. It does not stick to your hands and turns out very soft. Cover with a towel and leave for a few minutes.
We start preparing the filling. To do this, grate cheese on a coarse grater and combine it with cottage cheese.
Use a knife to cut onions and send them to the cottage cheese and cheese.
Slightly knead the dough and divide it into four parts. Roll out with a rolling pin into thin layers.
Grease one half of the rolled out dough with vegetable oil, roll in half and fill the long edge with filling.
Roll up the sides to the center and form a roll.
Transfer to a baking tray, previously greased with vegetable oil. Cover the top with egg yolk and water. If desired, you can sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Send to the oven, heated to 180 degrees for 25 minutes. Done!
