Ingredients of the dough for apple pie:
- eggs – 2 pcs;
- sugar – 100 g;
- vanilla sugar – 8 g;
- butter – 40 g;
- vegetable oil – 40 ml;
- leavening agent – 4 g;
- flour – 300 g.
Ingredients for the filling:
- apples – 500 g;
- lemon juice – tbsp;
- sugar – 80 g;
- butter – 40 g;
- apricot jam – 4 tbsp.
Preparation of apple pie:
In a bowl, break the eggs, pour classic and vanilla sugar. Add butter and vegetable oil to the mixture, mix the ingredients thoroughly.
Combine leavening agent with flour, pour into the egg mixture and knead a homogeneous not sticky dough. Divide the dough into two parts. Grease a baking dish with butter and place a part of the dough on the surface.

To prepare the filling, remove the seed pods and peel from the apples. Grate the apples on a large grater, mix with lemon juice, sugar and butter.
Put the apple mixture in a frying pan, fry the filling for 10 minutes on medium heat. Then cool the apple filling.
Grease the bottom of the prepared mold with dough with apricot jam, put the filling on the bottom in an even layer.
Roll out the second part of the dough to a diameter equal to the surface of the pie
. Make small incisions on the round top of the dough. To transfer the dough to the pie, roll it out on parchment. Transfer the dough to the pie top and gently spread it over the filling and the edges of the base dough.
Remove excess dough from the edges of the pie. Brush the top of the pastry with a mixture of egg and a tablespoon of milk. You can also sprinkle the top with chopped almonds or peanuts.
Bake the pie at 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
