Quite a lot of information is known about one of the world’s most popular dishes. Pies became the basis of most ancient gastronomic cultures. For example, it is impossible to imagine Slavic cuisine without pies, as well as Ossetian, Georgian and others.
Even in ancient Rome and ancient Greece, pies were an important dish in people’s diet. Their recipes are recorded in ancient Greek literature. The
relevance of pies has not disappeared until now. We constantly eat bakery products – be it chebureks, belyashi or classic pies with meat, potatoes.
Let’s prepare simple pies with cheese, puffy and soft, in a frying pan.
Ingredients for cheese patties:
- egg – pcs;
- milk – 200 ml;
- water – 200 ml;
- dry yeast – 10 g;
- sugar – 20 g;
- salt – 8 g;
- flour – 540 g;
- potatoes – pcs;
- red pepper – pcs;
- green pepper – 2 pcs;
- onion – pcs;
- parsley – bundle;
- Tulum cheese – 80 g.
Preparation of cheese patties:
In a bowl break the egg and mix lightly, pour granulated sugar, yeast, salt.
Pour
warm water and warm milk into the egg mixture and mix the ingredients.
Pour the flour into the mixture and knead a sticky, homogeneous dough with a spatula. Cover the dough with cling film and put it in the heat for 30 minutes.
Peel the potatoes and grate them on a large grater

Dice the onion into small cubes. Peel red and green peppers from their insides and cut into small pieces. Chop
parsley and mix in a bowl with onions, potatoes and peppers
.
Knead the risen dough with a spatula, letting out the gas.
Cut the cheese into small pieces, put it in the dough together with the vegetable mixture, mix.
Put the dough with the filling into a pastry bag. Heat 200 ml of vegetable oil in a frying pan and
pour small portions of dough from the pastry bag into the hot oil. To avoid making large patties, you can separate each portion with scissors.
Fry the patties over medium heat until golden on both sides.
After cooking, place the patties on a paper towel to release excess oil.
We recommend eating these patties with sour cream.
