Beets are one of the most popular vegetables that are added to salads. And beets are used to make both holiday salads and simple vitamin salads. But, many people still know only Vinegret and Herring under Shuba from beet salads
. It is worth moving away from the stereotype that all beet salads are similar to each other. As a rule, this opinion arises when people prepare different salads from the same products. Beets are combined with different components, this is the relevance of the vegetable for salads.
For this reason, it is worth taking a closer look at different recipes for beet salads. We propose to make one of the universal vitamin salads from beets.
Ingredients for beet salad:
- Beets – 2 pcs;
- Canned beans – 200 g;
- Red onion – 1 pc;
- Canned fish – 180 g;
- Walnuts – 20 g;
- Parsley – a couple of sprigs.
Ingredients for dressing:
- Vegetable oil – 3 tbsp;
- Lemon juice – 3 tbsp;
- Mustard not spicy – 1 tsp;
- Honey – 1 tsp;
- Ground black pepper – a pinch.
Preparation of beet salad:
Boil to readiness beets, peel and grate on a coarse grater. Onions cut into thin quarter rings, mix with beets
. Shinkuem finely parsley, put in the salad along with canned beans. We put canned fish in the salad, chop nuts in the same place.
For dressing combine lemon juice, mustard, honey and ground black pepper in a bowl with vegetable oil. Salt the dressing to taste and mix thoroughly

This vitamin salad can replace vinaigrette.
