Pancakes are a sought-after breakfast all over the world. Each country prepares them according to its own recipe.
For example, in Asia, pancakes are cooked so that their surface is perfectly smooth and even. In our country and in Europe, less perfectionism is shown to fritters. For this reason, fritters are more traditional and simple.
Different fillings are often added to fritters. It is worth giving a recipe for cooking fritters with apple.
Ingredients for fritters with apple:
- egg – pcs;
- sugar – 2 tbsp;
- salt – tsp;
- kefir – 330 ml;
- flour – 10 tbsp;
- baking soda – tsp;
- apples – 5 pcs.
Preparation of fritters with apple:
Beat the eggs with granulated sugar and salt until the grains of sand are dissolved. Pour warm kefir into the egg mixture, stir until homogeneous.
Sift flour into the mixture, knead a thick dough with a consistency similar to thick sour cream. Pour baking soda into the dough, mix the ingredients and leave for 10 minutes under a lid.
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, cut apples into circles about cm thick.

Spread the batter on the pan, creating small fritters.

Put a circle of apples on the fritters, cover with a lid and cook over a low-medium heat. Once the edges of the fritters are frosted, sprinkle the apple layer with sugar.
Turn the fritters over carefully with the apple facing down. Wait for the apple to brown and caramelize.


These apple fritters are slightly sour, but also very sweet. A great way to replace the usual pancakes with something new for breakfast.
