The name “Milk Girl” may cause some misunderstanding, as not everyone will realize that it is a cake we are talking about. This dessert was invented in Germany, where it is called milk cake, a similar name has a similar name in English.
The peculiarity of the cake is considered a delicate texture. Because of the tenderness and weightlessness of the cake, it was called in the CIS Milk Girl.
There are few recipes for Milk Girl in Europe. Only recently, the list of recipes began to be replenished with new cooking ideas. Let’s make the cake “Milk Girl” on our own.
Ingredients of the sponge cake:
- eggs – 2 pcs;
- condensed milk – 180 g;
- salt – a pinch;
- flour – 180 g;
- leavening agent – 10 g;
- butter – 50 g.
Ingredients for the cream:
- heavy cream – 300 g;
- powdered sugar – 70 g;
- cottage cheese – 340 g.
Preparation:
In a bowl with eggs pour condensed milk, salt and stir. Sift some flour and baking powder into the mixture. Melt the butter and pour it into the flour
mixture
.
Continue sifting the flour into the mixture and then knead the biscuit dough. Pour ½ of the dough onto a
baking
tray lined with parchment and spread an even layer.
Bake the crust at 180 degrees until ready. Do the same with the second part of the dough.
Trim the unevenness on the cakes and divide into small biscuits.
For the cream, whip together cream, powdered sugar and cheese to a creamy mass. Brush each cake with cream and assemble the cake.
Leave the cake for 2 hours in the refrigerator
