French-style meat is a recipe that almost every person from the Soviet Union knows. The dish was prepared for big holidays like New Year’s Eve or Jubilee. Products for the dish were not cheap, but many people wanted to surprise their guests with such a dinner.
However, if you ask a Frenchman about French-style meat, he will say that he does not know about this dish. Or a resident of France will tell about cutlets rather than about the Soviet dish. The fact is that French-style meat was invented by Soviet cooks for elite hotels in the South.

Ingredients for French-style chicken:
- vegetable oil – 10 ml;
- potatoes – 300 g;
- red bell pepper – 1 pc;
- chicken breast – 300 g;
- black pepper – 15 g;
- salt – 30 g;
- onion – 2 pcs;
- carrots – 1 pc;
- pickled cucumbers – 100 g;
- sour cream – 110 g;
- mozzarella – 100 g;
- cucumbers – 2 pcs;
- feta cheese – 100 g;
- dill – 20 g;
- green onions – 10 g.
Preparation of French-style chicken:
Cut peeled potatoes into plates. Grease parchment (10×10 cm) with vegetable oil, overlap 5-6 potatoes in a circle.
Repeat this way with the remaining 5 sheets.
Cut bell pepper into rings, place a ring each on the potato bumps
