In ancient times there was no such invention as a frying pan. However, cooking was possible: a flat stone heated over a fire was used. It cannot be said that the ingredients on the stone were fried, they were only dried. To achieve a different result, people came up with the idea of making a depression.

Ingredients:
- flour – 400 g;
- leavening agent – 1.5 tsp;
- sour cream – 2 tbsp;
- butter – 50 g;
- water – 250 ml;
- salt – tsp.
Ingredients for stuffing:
- minced meat – 350 g;
- onion – 2 pcs;
- butter – 30 g;
- olive oil;
- round-grain rice – 100 g;
- salt, pepper, paprika.
Preparation:
In a container send 2 tablespoons of sour cream, add 50 grams of butter, pour in salt. Pour hot water and stir with a spatula. Pour in the flour and baking powder passed through a sieve
. Knead the dough with your hands, it should be elastic. Knead for 7 minutes. Cover with foil and leave for 20 minutes.
For the filling, finely chop the onions. Melt butter in a frying pan, fry onions until golden.
Add minced meat and cook over medium heat. Pour spices: salt, paprika, black pepper. Cover with a lid and stew on low heat.
Boil rice and mix with the prepared minced meat. The stuffing is ready.
Back to the dough. Cut into small pieces and form balls.
Roll out into a thin elongated layer.
Put the filling on the edge and roll up into a roll. To prevent the filling from falling out, fold the edges.
Send the billets to a frying pan filled with vegetable oil. Fry on all sides.
Remove on a paper towel to get rid of excess oil.
