Flatbreads, presumably, were prepared by man earlier than the bread we are accustomed to. The fact that it is faster to make a flatbread and does not require a lot of additional ingredients

probably justifies the fact that flatbread exists in many cuisines of the world. This dough product is found in both Asian, Mediterranean and Latin American gastronomic culture.

All national dishes in the Caucasus are prepared mainly with the use of

flatbread. It is worth preparing this product from a simple dough yourself.

Ingredients for flatbread:

  • Flour – 300 g;
  • semolina – 150 g;
  • Leavening agent – tsp;
  • Water – 300 ml;
  • Sugar – tbsp;
  • Salt – tbsp;
  • Butter – 150 g.

Preparation of tortillas:
