Most salads came to Europe from France. The French in turn borrowed salads from Italy. It was from ancient Rome that a very simple dish called salad came down to modern times. Originally, this name meant that the dish is salty.
Now salads have many different dressings, a lot of ingredients are added. This has given cooks room for experimentation. You can make different types of salads for any occasion.

Ingredients for French salad:
- carrots – pcs;
- garlic – 1 clove;
- eggs – 5 pcs;
- processed cheese – 3 pieces;
- green apple – 1 piece;
- hard cheese – 70 g; m

Preparation of French salad:
Rub the carrots on large sharps grater. Chop a clove of garlic on a fine grater, put together with a couple of spoons of mayonnaise to the carrots and mix.
Boil hard-boiled eggs, peel and separate the whites from the yolks

Grate the whites on a coarse grater, and on a fine grater – yolks.
Melted cheese in advance leave in the freezer for half an hour. Then grate the cheeses on small grating cutters and put some of them as the first layer in a plate.
Smear the cheese layer with mayonnaise

Put ½ part of the protein layer on the cheese layer, cover with part of the carrot layer.
Peel the apples and remove the core. Grate the apples on a coarse grater and put them on the carrot layer. Cover this layer with the rest of the carrot mass.
Put the cheese layer on the carrots, smear with mayonnaise.
Cover the cheese layer with protein layer, create a mayonnaise mesh on the surface.
Coarsely grate hard cheese, sprinkle it
on the
top and sides of the salad. Decorate the dish with grated yolk.
